Drilling and Countersinking of Cutting Edges for Earthmoving Equipment
Wear-resistant cutting edges and blades for buckets, wheel loaders, bulldozers, graders, and other earthmoving equipment require accurate and repeatable machining, even when manufactured from highly hardened wear-resistant steels. The MF400/A is a machine developed by IMSA for the drilling and countersinking of hardened cutting edges used in the earthmoving industry.
A machine specifically designed for this application delivers higher productivity than machining on general-purpose machining centers. The moving Gantry structure provides outstanding rigidity during machining, ensuring accuracy and repeatability over the entire workpiece length. The machine can be configured according to the dimensional and production requirements of each application.
