Drilling depth in single operation: 160x diameter until a maximum of 1000mm. Hole diameter range 4 &#8211; 25\u00a0mm. Some applications: transmission shafts, gear shafts, lubricators, valves, in general all round workpieces that have to be drilled on-center.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imsaitaly.com\/en\/articles\/the-deep-drilling-process\"><strong>Deep drilling method<\/strong><\/a>: gun drill tool. Drilling spindle: 9\u00a0kW, 6.000\u00a0rpm.<\/li>\n<li>The workpiece is in counter-rotation in respect to the gun drill, in order to obtain the maximal drill straightness and process speed.<\/li>\n<li>Specific IMSA functions to control the deep drilling process:<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Electronic check of cutting parameters,<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Double electronic check against gundrill-breaking, by reading the cutting effort.<\/li>\n<li>Temperature, pressure and oil cleanliness are fundamental parameters to ensure continuous trouble-free gun drilling operations.
